Some old scenario notes and characeter sheets from way back in the day would be fascinating too. Any kicking about?

I don't think the club has anything remaining to do with Krymm. Though there may be old notes and stuff kicking about in ref's houses.

I would even like to see a list of events with a brief description, so we oldies can all ohh and ahhh over the events we were in. :)

I remember alot about the first weekend interactive at Ennerdale, as I helped ref, for the first time, and My NPC/character got married too. I don't have notes but it was an interesting bunch that turned up for the wedding (including Brutis Gamber).

Obviously, I remember all of the Arath events, having ref'ed them. I played all Teolvar and Phoenix events, so have some memories of them, but mostly from a character point of view.

The Druids Tablet [Linear]
A search for 4 pieces of a magical Druid charm, shattered by Lemmy [a Dark mage]. The 1st Club Ran event using the Labyrinth LRP rules.

The Druids Tablet [Linear]
ran for a second time using the new Fadges rules. More of a play test

The search for Black Lemmy [Linear]
searching for Lemmy. was found dead at the end of the event after being killed by Shade Voidwalker. Introduced Lupus [pc]

followed by a number of linear's introducing the Kingdom of the Fields and the system underwent some refinements

A Royal To Do
Ran at Summergrove, an interactive that introduced Mallim, Ashara, Jacob and Elise [all pc's].

Kings Quest [Linear]
a Royal Quest to rescue Drulit Moontoken [The Royal Magician] from the clutches of Voidwalker. Resulted in the entire party being captured and turned into werewolve, vampires and generally getting tooled over. Introduced the NPCs of Tempus Fugit and Sloth [the big bad]

Kings Quest II [Linear]
The so called proper adventurers were dispatched to get a kicking and find out what happened to the original Kings Quest party.

Romero & Julieste
a mashup of Romeo and Juliet with black powder guns wielded by talking squirrels. Romero was a werewolf, Julieste lived in the town. A tale of star crossed lovers resulting in their death and complete party confusion. Introduction of Kael [and his zero energy healing spells] and Rardox and the return of Mallim. Bonesharp Gigglewitz [Orc Mage, bad guy] made his first apperance

cause for Celebration
First weekend interactive ran by the club. Elise & Jacob got married, Mallim was cured of his Vampire curse and we made a box to trap Sloths souls. And the best spell vocals ever "oy you, catch this: earth bolt 2"

when i get the time i will dredge my memory banks for some more "Old School" LRP events[/i]

Amazing memory man! That had brough back so many things...

I was on the second druids tablet!!!! I can remember very slighty screwing up a very long vocal at its very end to dispell a barrier, and Howard made me do it all again... :( I also remember loaning you my plate vambraces so you could fight a dark knight of some type. And then ending the event by flluffing my mass dispell vocals to disarm the last bandits... tho turned out to be guardians of the druids we were therre to serve and treated that as an act of agression. Mayhem ensued!

I remember volunteering to run at Lemmy with a dispell rod and pretty much everyone assuming I'd be toast... only to appear out of the woods behind him! I believe that was LSTs first event and he was called Shadow, for which he had much piss extracted.

I remember meeting Tempus Fugit who was carrying a harrods christmas carrier bag. And how it pissed it down but Mercury (Nige) was the only one with the spell protection from rain! Best phys rep ever.

Finally, I remember the shock in Sloths eyes (was it Bob? Or Howard?) when I agreed to turn to the dark side in exchange for power... and got the Sword of Evil in exchange at the next event.

Good times!

It would be great to document those somehow. Maybe photos and things if there are any.

I only caught the end of the Kymm events - having avoided LRP for a good while

I remember crewing a linear first. Lots of carrying green bags round the place and attempting to stay hidden, not sure I was aware of the 'hand up and you're invisible' concept then. I remember lots of ambushes, fighting on a slope where for a change the crew had the initial advantage, and for some strange reason playing a viking briefly...

I believe there was also a Star Wars rip off moment aimed at Fudges character (on the lines of Help me Obi-one-Kenobi, you're my only hope).

Played my first PC after that, Kyria, and I was hooked.

Thanks John, it is awesome to see so many character names, that bring back, good and bad memories.

I haven't even looked at Elise or Fern yet, but I know they will be different to how I remember them :)

I only ever did two Krymm events as Stalin Braveheart and I nearly died a few times on the second event, pissing of Bob Clydsdales character and tring to keep pace with the more powerful PC's on the Saturday as a 50pt character will do that! Owch!

I did most Teolvar's apart from T4 which clashed with a GW Games Day and I'm fairly sure I did all the Araths as either player or crew. I also remeber playing the one night Cyber-punk ran at the Falcon club back in '98.

It's got a certain ring to it: have you thought of Mugabe as a middle or surname? :) 'Hitler 'Moonbow' Mugabe'!

This is one of the occasions where I can quite truthfully say I did not name the character as it was built and named by someone else.
