General questions to the LARP massive:

Can NERF guns be used to replicate LARP Firearms?

I'd be happy to be shot with a NERF gun, but I think using them to replicate LARP Firearms depends on the style of the LARP system in question.

I'm not sure they would fit in for a modern day LRP, but I'm sure they would work well for sci-fi and futuristic setting LARPs.

I dont mind if they were used. Just dont want it to look too cheesy. I frequently get hit with squash balls which are a bit ouchy so foam should be ok.

I really wouldn't mind nerf guns being used in a suitable LRP setting.

They don't hurt even over a short distance. Being hit by a LARP safe arrow is much more painful as they have more power behind them.
