NerdEast LARP & RPG Fair

Postby Victoria » Sat May 29, 2010 8:10 pm

Just in case anyone is interested, there is a LARP and RPG in Durham on Saturday 19 June 2010.

I'm going along (but I do only live half an hour away, so not exactly a difficult trip. :))

If anyone is interested, they have a facebook page as below and it's being organised by the Durham University Treasure Trap, so their site should have details.

Working Link

Postby Bowch » Sun May 30, 2010 9:56 am

Following link should work a bit better:

http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=1 ... 604&ref=ts

They have a website at:

http://www.dur.ac.uk/treasure.trap/nerdeast/

Sounds good, may well be interested in attending.

do we want to
a) try and organise a bus to go over?
b) try to promote the club at the event?

I'd be happy to go and 'sell' us for a day - but would prefer to have 3/4 of us to share the job...

I'll try gauge interest at club on Monday.

Damn, you are correct...

I suppose if there is enough interest we may be able to move the 12 hour; dependant upon room availability.

Andrew

I am attending this faire so as requested both you and Liz can have a lift. I will leave the last seat free in case we want to transport anything long back (staff etc) and can put the single back seat down.

I would love to go, but I'm not sure when I can drive again yet.

MRI is done, and I get my results in the next week or so. It has been a long drawn out process. Don't even know if my knee needs surgery or just physio yet. :x :?

I'll keep you informed...and find somewhere better for food....

I will hopefully be going so if there is a need for 2 cars then mine will be available or I am happy to contribute towards petrol.

Are people still going over to Durham this year. If so is there space in a car? or is a second car needed?

I am driving across and I know Craig, Liz and Andrew are going as well. I have offered them a lift in my car so I think a 2nd will be needed.

Looking forward to seeing you at the fair.

It will be interesting to see if the presence of Daleks will draw a SyFi crowd in at all. :?

Sounds like there will be food available on site this year - and be warned I bring small humans with me this time.
